The original quote comes from John Donne ("Ask not for whom the bell
tolls, it tolls for thee"), and no one talks like him anymore. I'm with
Andy Eagle as well: happy to quote it, would never say it. To paraphrase
Winston Churchill: this too is a nonsense up with which I shall not put!
