But of course! And what could be more appropriate? Except when I wear
purple, or red, or green, or blue, or pinstripe... :)

It's a great name, though!

Subject: Appallations

Well, Sandy, the Kahuna asked me to counter by saying he used _'ele_ 'black'
as a _'ōlelo ho'ohālike pa'a i nā mele_ (something along the lines of
"poetic metaphor") for "gothic" (to keep it apart from _kokika_ 'Gothic').
Besides that, he likes the image of _'aeko 'ele_ to describe you as a
sharp-eyed raptor whose grace and majesty can quickly turn into a ferocious
plunge.

However, I admit that he has severely repremanded me for translating _'aeko_
as 'hawk' (which is _'io_). _'Aeko_ means 'eagle'. My apologies. I'll
correct this on the page (http://www.lowlands-l.net/treasures/kahuna.htm) as
soon as possible.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron

P.S.: The Kahuna also advises everyone to watch out for the antics of a
certain _Melekeika'ākau_ (a.k.a. Arthur A. Jones, and his dubious Haolefied
acquaintances) whom he has given the byname _'Alopeke'āpiki-'Ōlelopahe'e_
("crafty fox of the cunning tongue").

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
