From: R. F. Hahn <sassisch at yahoo.com>
Subject: Travels

Dear Lowlanders,

This is to remind you that further articles for our Travels presentation (
lowlands-l.net/travels/) would be gratefully received, no matter how long or
how short they are or in what language they are written.

Those of you planning to help with the language guides (
lowlands-l.net/travels/say.php) need to note the following:

   - South African languages are being taken care of by Elsie Zinsser.
   - French and Walloon will be taken care of by Jean-Luc Detilleux, but
I have already taken care of the numbers for both. (Please check.)
   - Sandy Fleming will take care of Scots.
   - Henry Baron will take care of Westerlauwer Frisian.
   - I have already taken care of the Spanish and Portuguese numbers but
still need volunteers for the phrases and vocabulary in these languages.
   - Please write to me (sassisch at yahoo.com) to pledge works for the
language guides sections before you start, since this avoids duplication.
   - Please write to me (sassisch at yahoo.com) if you want to receive the
language guide template in MS Word format.

The three sections:

   - Basic phrases: lowlands-l.net/travels/phrases.php
   - Vocabulary (accompanying the phrases):
   lowlands-l.net/travels/words.php
   - Numbers: lowlands-l.net/travels/numbers.php

You will notice that I have divided the language guides into two sections

   1. Lowlands languages
   2. Languages useful in the Lowlands

The Travels presentation is being visited by an increasing number of people
from all over the world, as are our other presentations. Here is your
chance to put your favorite places and things on the international map and
to teach folks everywhere about your Lowlands. All of you are able to do
something, and no one of you needs to suffer from lack of confidence. Please
remember that assistance can be arranged and that we are not expecting
anything grandiose.

Thanks to those of you who have already helped or pledged help, and thanks
to those of you who are considering getting involved.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
