Subject: Travels

Dear Lowlanders,

With the approval of the Travel Team (lowlands-l.net/travels/colophon.php) I
have added a "trivia" feature to the pages at our Travel site (
lowlands-l.net/travels/), under the title "Did you know this?" I plan to add
it to all or most travel tip pages, already have done so to all pages we
have so far. Also, as much as possible, I would like these little
"vignettes" to have a language slant so as to link to our other
presentations.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, by all means contact me about it.
You might even want to join me in composing.

To get to our travel tip pages the fastest way, go to the index page (
lowlands-l.net/travels/) and scroll down to "New".

By the way, Tom Mc Rae wrote a native's guide to Edinburgh you are likely to
enjoy. Thanks, Tom!

To look at our language aid pages, click on "Things to Say".

I take it the rest of you are busy writing more travel tips and the like.
And, whatever you do, do not feel intimidated by long articles! One
paragraph per page would do just fine. Need help? All you need to do is
knock.

Thanks.

Reinhard/Ron
