I saw this several times already the last few days I've been active here
again: some of the messages are entirely underlined, as if they were web
sites. Quite disturbing... and because of this I couldn't open the link
that was mentioned in the message. Ingmar

Thanks, Ingmar.

Apparently this is due to a glitch between HTML encoding and (semi-HTML)
"Text" decoding in different programs, where a hyperlink is generated
automatically when a URL or email address appears: the </a> command falls
through the cracks, and the rest of the message is shown as a link.

I am sorry this happens occasionally and bothers you so. I will see if I can
fudge my way around it, which may involve two or three additional steps for
each issue.
