My wife, raised in the Nether Rhine region (Kleve, Mörs, Düsseldorf,
Krefeld) and most of her time living there - but nothing to do with LS -
tells me, that



"Der/die is tot geblieben" (westphalian: "hey/sey is daut bliewen",
engl. "he/she
has remained dead")



is an often heard slang expression in the simple people's language in the
Nether-Rhine/Ruhr region.
