Hello all,
       I heard an announcer on one of the 24 hour "news" channels a couple
of days ago say of an announcement of an interest rate decision that 'the
decision can be seen live at .. pm'. 'Decision' here seems to mean
'announcement of a decision' - is this a new way of using the word? I think
I've heard of a 'decision being heard' or 'hearing a decision', but not of
'seeing a decision'.
