Mark Dreyer:
you translate "wordhoard"/vocabulary with "woordlys" to afrikaans. However I
have the feeling here "vocabulary" would be something liek woordeskat (sp?)
in Afrikaans as "hoard" means treasure. At leas tin Dutch, 'woordenschat'
and 'woordenlijst' are completely different things, altho both can be
translated "vocabulary" in English.

u's Doodreg. Ek sit verstom dat ek dit misgekyk het. 'Woordeskat' is wel
heelwat nader aan die konsep van OE 'wordhoard'.
