Interesting! In our Low Saxon we have "Wiemen" [veemen] in the meaning of a
woodpile, too. An idiom, often used, is "Ick gao' nu' opp'n Wiemen!",
meaning "I'm going to sleep now!". It originates from chicken sleeping on
woodpiles.
