Moi Leeglaanders,



Ik kan mij nog herinnern dat mien moe de slao opdiende mit eek en suker, of
een schöp spekvet van uutebakken spek.

Daorbij de eigenheimer eerpels en ’t spek.

Later kwam de slaoeulie in trek en nog later de slaosaus.

Tegenswoordig he’j paartien slaomixen in de supemarkt liggen.



En a’k dat van dat eek, suker en spekvet now an mien kieder vertel dan kiekt
ze mij hiel ongeleuvig an.
