One more:

Sinaasappel (Dutch), Appelsien (Belgian Dutch), Appeltjes van Oranje (Dutch
for kids) for oranges.

cf. Apfelsine in German.

This created quite some ambiguity in several languages, as e.g. in French:

- pommes cuites: stewed apples

but

- pommes frites: not fried apples, but French fries.
