Subject: LL-L "Resources"

Found this today at the Acco bookshop in Leuven:

pp., 22.50 euro (19:15 euro for members of Acco)

Acco is a kind of university COOP.

A sample excerpt:

Regards,

Roger

Funny, I know the (now extinct, I think) West Frisian "tsjirl" (now we use
"keardel", and variants) with that same meaning (it still occurred in 19th
century Frisian, with other now extinct forms like "tsjeaf" (now dief) =
thief, "tsjutlik" (now dúdlik) = clear, tsjútsk (now dútsk) = German, etc.)
We still have forms like tsjerne (churn, cf. Dutch karn) ,tsjef (chaff, cf.
Dutch kaf) etc, that show the same Ingvaeonic palatalisation.

regards,

Henno
