Evil or not, I dare not say, but surely not the beginning.

Written characters do sort of make oral sources look less trustworthy, less
objective if you will. Then again, I think the introduction of structured
vocal speech was even a much bigger revolution back in the days. And before
that, learning how to walk upright (like most humans do ;=)) was probably
not too obvious for most apes either. Just imagine how it would change your
personal life if you'd have to crawl on all fours again...not too mention
how it would change modern society...rush-hour trains would be even more
packed...and the driver would have difficulty to see where he's driving ;=)
Besides...hold your breath...remember that day when we jumped out of the
water and started to live on land? I was suffocating man! Now thàt was the
start of all evil...btw, I can't swim ;=)
