What a sweet death, dear Arend! Physical pain apart, your father-in-law
seems to have been carried by earthly love to the realms of heavenly love --
what better death can human heart desire? I wish you all warm and heartfelt
tears to cry, the sort that comforts so much, and that you may think with
gratitude of all the love and merit that must have filled a life that ended
so well.

My father in law has past away last Sunday night.
It was a little bit of a struggle but at last and with the help of our Lord
and Father, he has found his way in to heaven. With all his children,
gathered surround him, holding his hands and singing the Gospel, he felt in
to a healing sleep in the arms of his Saviour
