Could we get an English translation of this one?

I remeber when Ron done a few translations of my poems to German and they
were posted on the website, I think it would be good if we were to do
something like that for each other again, if a person posts a poem that
they wrote in their own language, and others could translate to their
language.

- Original work remains copyright of the author, and where published along
with the translation, must be credited as same
- Translation is copyright of the translator, though author has
republishing rights, where translator must always be credited.

What do you folk think?
Below are some of the poems from my website in other languages.

Bedankt Hanne, prachtig.
Van mi-j ok 'n kleine bi-jdrage:

Reizigers bi-j nacht.

Ze waren van heel ver ekomen
uut een veur ons onbekend laand.
Geleerden mit sterrenverstaand,
vol van astrologische dromen.

Droomden ze niet over een koning
die toen mus wörden geboren?
Een prachtsterre zagen ze gloren,
ze zöchten de plaats van zien woning.

Ze volgden de sterre bi-j nachten;
die sterre die reisde veuruut.
Ze namen eertieds een besluut
en bleven gien dag langer wachten.

Op een oavond bi-j wassende moane
was de hemel mit sterren bezeid.
Toen bint ze noar Bethlehem eleid;
ja, zo is het vaste egoane.

Doar hebt ze heur koning evunden
in een kribbe in doeken ewunden.
Dat wörden de schat van heur leven,
die Koning in Bethlehems dreven.

"Keersies in de nacht", Gerrit van Faassen

Mien wènsen veur alle Lowlanders;

Goede en vrolike Karstdagen en een Veurspoedig 2013.

Dick.
