Read the story about the wreckage, on June 4, 1629, of the flagschip
"Batavia" of the Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC, United Dutch
East-Indies Trading Company) on the Houtman-Abrolhos Isles near the
West coast of Australia .
