Oh
yes, this happens to me all the time. Glad I'm not the only one! Often
I have to go through what I typed and correct all the instances where I
wrote "to" instead of "two" or "too", for example, although I know
exactly how it should be spelled in each instance. This never happens

First stage: when I write something down on a piece of paper, my head
is slightly tilted forward, same position as when I'm reading a book. I
find this to be the best position for concentration, it allows me to
focus well. </span><br style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;">
Second stage: keeping my head upright changes my perspective; that's
the way I watch a screen (TV or monitor). Believe it or not, I will
start thinking differently: not so much focussed...my mind goes
astray...zapping sets in. </span><br style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;">
Third stage: the least bit my chair reclines (10 degrees will do the
trick), my thinking becomes very lateral...receptivity increases even

Fourth stage: lie down, and you know what happens *s*.</span><br style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;">

I suppose those people pronounce them identically ... or one person's mistake (ignorance?) spread to others and now the word has a new pronunciation.
