LS-languages will survive, because there is a lot of people busy to document all
knowledge, sources etc. which still can be found. And- they can make it

language which survives this way is a different language, compared with the
language of the oldies <strong>and</strong> with the language still spoken

don't think and point out anywhere that the <em>old</em><span><font face="Courier"> languages which people still
speak today have any guarantee to survive in any special European rural
communities. Far from it! I pointed out that it will be that <em>compulsory
modernized</em> language which survives- for the use mainly by some
craz...-sorry ;-)- intellectuals, linguists and *fans*. <em>(And perhaps some
nostalgical Americans and Aussies will do, and specially for their
benefit we should keep an alert eye on any project dealing with LS in
the WWW. Perhaps they'll still find something reminding them at a 'soulful'
language here.)</em></font></span></font></font></span></div>

maintenance... what I have seen here in my home area in the last two years just
hurts too much to describe, really. Old ladies in the church choir trying to
"speak Platt", discussing vocabulary, sounding like early "le jardin de ma
tante" lessons - using some watered-down form of Eastphalian instead of "real"
Sollinger Platt - I wish they would just forget about it pronto, and let it rest
in peace. Young people doing amateur plays in "Platt" - I had to leave because
it was so awful, they all sounded like second-year foreign language students and
barely knew what they were saying.</font></font></font></span></span></span></div>

arrogant und provinziell ist, dann doch der Schreiberling, der auf schrecklich
hölzerne, ungelenke und häufig miss-interpretierende Weise eine Sprache
verfremdet und verhunzt! Weil ihm nämlich etwas Entscheidendes fehlt: der Zugang
zu dem, was eine von Menschen gesprochene Sprache von einem Automaten,
einer 'Computerstimme' unterscheidet. </font></span></div>

Eltern und staatlichen Organisationen weltweit Milliardenbeträge ausgegeben für
Schüler- und Studenten-Austausch-Programme, damit der Nachwuchs auf diese Weise
herauskommt aus dem miefigen Gefängnis der Schriftsprache, um das Leben, die
'Seele', die Mentalität, die Menschen, die hinter einer jeden Sprache stehen, zu
verstehen und zu begreifen.</font></span></div>

eine stetig wachsende Anzahl besonders fähiger Sprach<em>athleten</em>, die
herausgefunden haben, dass diese durch Generationen
bewährte Methode ihrem obskuren Schaffensdrang und dem
persönlichen Ehrgeiz im Wege stehen könnte...</font></span></div>
