Heather had a nostalgic moment recalling not Canadian scouts ( and girl
guides) but singing round the campfire in the Sussex countryside in the
50s. </font>
<p style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font size="2">The tune leapt into my head the moment I
saw the refrain. I shall sing it tomorrow to my mother, now 90, and
then our Girl Guide captain. It was one of her favourites.</font></p>
