I came across a Whisky-brand named <em>'<strong>Cadenhead'</strong></em>. It 
seems to be one of those very expensive and famous ones I never shall get a 
chance to taste it...</font></span></div>

investigations about the word and found <em>'Caden'</em> as a famous 
Irish/Gaelic name (meanwhile used in Germany as well).</font></span></div>

should be a name composed of parts from two languages, or could there be any 
different, Germanic-rooted meaning for '<em>caden',</em> as we can find in 
locations sited in our region? Here it denotes something like <em>'border'</em> 
or <em>'edge'.</em></font></span></div>
