<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#0000ff" size="2"><span><font color="#000000" size="3">Now this is exactly why I have refused to
participate in any Lowlands discussions for many months. Never mind that the
actual situation does not fit your agenda. There is more than one way of being
narrow-minded.</font></span></font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#0000ff" size="2"><span><font color="#000000" size="3">You did not adress a single
one of the valid issues Jonny or I raised. Instead, we get a lecture about
the cultural, moral and political superiority of your own agenda,
adding a few more or less hidden insults for those who see things a little more
realistic. And the second paragraph I quoted above makes very little sense, to
put it mildly. This kind of "argument" can hardly be considered
constructive.</font></span></font></div>
<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#000000" size="3"><span></span></font> </div>
<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#000000" size="3"><span>I used to think that all kinds of different opinions
were welcome in this list, and that actual discussions were encouraged,
instead of being shot down in a thoroughly aggressive, unfounded manner (talk
about dismissive arguments!). Thanks for being compared to Burmese military
leaders, by the way, although, internationally spoken, I seem to
remember that the country is called Myanmar these
days. </span></font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#000000" size="3"><span>I have finally come to realise that any further
"discussion" here is absolutely futile. What was I thinking to suggest that
those who actually live in the places where people from different regions
of the world would like to press their agendas might have a little say in the
matter, or even get to make their own decisions?</span></font></div>
<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#000000" size="3"><span></span></font> </div>
<div style="font-family: arial,sans-serif;"><font color="#000000" size="3"><span>Moving back to an area where Lower Saxon is still
spoken to some degree has been quite an eye-opener. But why would actually
living here and seeing what is going on first-hand count for
anything?</span></font></div>
