Subject: Etymology<br><br>Diederik,<br><br>The only Gothic item I can come up with is <i>hallus</i> 'stone slab', 'stone block', 'boulder', 'rock', corresponding to Crimean Gothic <i>ael</i> and going back to Germanic *<i>halluz</i> and Indo-European *<i>kel-</i>.<br>
