volk gaat, maar om "X" en volk. Ik bedoel, als er maar iets is wat een
volk samenhoudt, hoeft het niet taal te zijn. Neem bijv. het voorbeeld
van de Joden. Voor de oost-europese joden, is zeker het Jiddisj een
verbindend factor geweest, maar selfs met het relatief ondergaan van
het Jiddisj na WOII, houden joden hun identiteit. In het geval van de
West Friezen, zou het het geval zijn geweest dat er niets anders was,
wat ze van de Noord Hollanders onderscheidde? Ik bedoel, waren de
(bijv) allemaal Calvinisten? Was hun cuisine hetzelfde? Een taal kan
veranderen of zelfs verdwijnen zonder dat een volk verdwijnen. Kijk
naar die Ieren (Iersen? sorry voor mij Nederlands). Ze kunnen haast
