I have checked the archives of the list for any postings about road
signs in Scots and found a couple about the political significance of
such signs. What I am interested in, though, is where such signs can
be found in Scotland. Robert McColl Millar has the example of 'Dunna
Chuck Bruck' from Shetland on the cover of his book 'Northern and
Insular Scots' (2007). Does anyone know of places on the Scottish
mainland where similar signs may be found?</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
