I happened to watch a very interesting German-language TV program from Eupen,
Belgium. The subject is revival of "Platt", used as a general label
for regional non-standard language varieties, specifically Low and Middle
Franconian ones. There are also references to varieties and their movements in
the Netherlands and Germany.<br>
<br>
The hosts interview the language activist Joseph Frins of the Netherlands.<br>
<br>
Parts of the interviews are about the upcoming dialect festival Os Moddersproak.<br>
