"Dat moet van het maleis afkomen....", maar toen dacht ik ook aan
banjer als in "banjer heer" en dat is vast wel afgeleid van
"banier", de vlag, het vaandel van een troep, soldaten, verkenners
etc. Weet iemand van jullie hier meer van.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black;"></span></p>

Nederlands "plunden" (vodden). Als "bonje" nu ook vooral in
hetzelfde (dialect)gebied gebruikt wordt waar "plunje" voorkomt, dan
zou een hypothetische vorm "bonde(n)" aan de oorsprong van dit woord
kunnen liggen.</span></p>
<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt;" lang="DE">Als ik dan de Zuidnederlandse uitdrukking "ze hebben
weer boel" voor "ze hebben weer ruzie" hier naast leg, dan kan
de grondbetekenis misschien zijn "ongeordende hoop"? Dus misschien
< bundel, bondel? Nogmaals, dit is een zware gok hoor.</span></p>
