earlier posts, also here family member words have neuter articles, or
feminine (not sure, cfr. the discussion about merger of neuter and
feminine in younger Antwerpian), een bruur, e vader/een vader? Ou
vader, ou bruur, me vader (m'n vader?), m'n bruur, </span><em style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">never </em><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">ne
vader, ouwen bruur, m'ne vader. This is true for all Brabant varieties,
not sure how they behave in the rest of southern Dutch. In Antwerp,
with plural possessive pronoun, 'bruur' can have both, tho: hunnen
bruur/hun bruur, onz(en) bruur. </span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
