<span>Beste
Lowlanners,</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span>just a couple of
days ago I read an article in our local newspaper which attracted my
interest.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span>Meanwhile I found
it also in the internet on <font color="#0000ff">PR <a href="http://inside.com/" target="_blank">inside.com</a>
</font>:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span><a href="http://www.pr-inside.com/de/plattdeutsch-als-zusatzqualifikation-f-uuml-r-r1437250.htm" target="_blank">http://www.pr-inside.com/de/plattdeutsch-als-zusatzqualifikation-f-uuml-r-r1437250.htm</a></span></div>

<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span>Two facts within
this article struck me:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span>1. Isn't it great
that an employer looks out for an employee who is able to speak Low Saxon? I
guess things like these just can happen in Eastern Friesland (as far as Germany
is concerned), because for most of the people over there it's still their true
first language.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span>2. Isn't it awful
that the Low-Saxonian (Niedersachsen, federal state of Germany))
employers-federation advised against job-advertisements which prefer people with
knowledge of Low Saxon? Obviously this language seems to
be different from any other language...</span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span> Apartheid in
Germany - its other face!  </span></div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span></span> </div>

<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;" align="left"><span></span> Allerbest!</div>
<div style="font-family: courier new,monospace;" align="left"> </div>
