<div><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Hello Lowlanders:<br> <br>With tongue planted in cheek, I have developed a new poetry genre.  I call it texku, because it has the structure of haiku (5-7-5), but the topic of Texas.  Haiku requires a reference to nature, but texku requires the expression of joy or lament.  Below, you’ll see my first effort after a summer of more than 65 days of 100F (38C) temperatures.<br>
