hinsichtlich der Bedeutung grün, rot, gold (gelb) entnehmen. Komplementärfarben 

bilden direkt nebeneinander einen starken Kontrast. Hat man die Bedeutung der 

Farben willkürlich erdacht... Vielleicht könnte man noch diesem Gedanken 

nachgehen.</font></div>

die  kleinen Häuser von außen prachtvoll, fast schon überladen geschmückt. 

Girlanden umrahmen auch hier Haustüren und alles erstrahlt im hellsten 

Lichterschein; später folgt die dicke Rechnung Stromgebühren.</font></div>

Weihnachtsbaum. Eine Fichte nahm man früher nicht, es mußte eine Kiefer 

sein.</font></div>

Tannenwald) und holte sich seinen</font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">Dannenbom. Und man nahm sich auch</font><font size="2"> einen "Dannenbull" (Tannenzapfen) mit nach </font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">Hause, um zugleich schmückendes Beiwerk zu 

haben.</font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">Vor 1850 gab es in der Marnitzer Gegend im Kreis 

Parchim zu Weihnachten keinen Tannenbaum. Am Heiligen Abend wurden die Mützen 

auf den Tisch gelegt. Die Mutter legte dann Äpfel, Nüsse und Semmelpuppen 

hinein, oft wurde auch etwas Geld</font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">(2 Schillinge) in einen Apfel gesteckt. Es wurden 

Weihnachtslieder gesungen, aber keine Lichter angezündet.</font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">Später, statt Lichter hüngen "Slätkatten" an denn' 

Bom. (Slät heißt eigentlich Verschleiß, Katten : Katzen. De Slätkatten würden so 

makt: In een Sieb würd Flaß (Flachs) leggt, un denn würd Waß (Wachs) von de 

Immen roewergaten, denn würd de Flaß to dicke Rullen dreiht, dormit würd lücht' 

(geleuchtet). To Wihnachten würden von disse Rullen fingerlange Enn' afsnäden un 

an denn' Bom hängt - as Lichters.</font></div>

Mecklenburg den Tannenbaum. </font></div>

<div style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font size="2">Aber den Ersten </font><font size="2">Tannenbaum mit Kerzen, also denn' iersten Dannenbom mit

(Grevesmühlen) nach seiner Wanderschaft Elsass aufgestellt haben.</font></div>
