wird die Bedeutung/ /mit dem launischen Flug der Mücke, der Schnake,
erklärt. Allerdings wird im gleichen Eintrag erklärt, dass das Wort
"Schnake" für 'Mücke' im Niederdeutschen allenfalls unter hochdeutschem
Einfluss vorkäme.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
Es ist also vielleicht plausibler, das Wort von "Snake", der 'Schlange'
abzuleiten. Das würde eher zu der Bedeutung "/wunderlich, seltsam"
/passen, die meinem Eindruck nach, zumindest im heutigen
Plattdeutschen, auch deutlich überwiegt. Also im Sinne von
"Verhalten/Gedanken, von denen Abstand zu halten ist" oder
"Verhalten/Gedanken, die schwer einzuordnen/gefährlich sind",
vielleicht auch "gewunden". Was es halt so an Assoziationen zur
Schlange gibt.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><font style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" color="#888888">
