<span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Subject: Language diversity<br><br>Dear Lowlanders,<br><br>It is not often that news about language diversity hits the popular media. Sadly, when it does happen, it tends to about language death.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">

<br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Although the currently reported case is not directly related to the Lowlands sphere, it illustrates what happens in such cases. It concerns the recent death of Boa Sr, apparently the last speaker of the Bo language of the Great Andaman Islands, which belong to India.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
