meant to and sent it without noticing that I'd lost the context and the<br>
argument didn't make much sense!<br>

I was mainly trying to say that for people who feel politically<br>
motivated to push a flag forward, the design is of very little concern<br>
compared to the importance (to them) of actually having a flag. Hence<br>
why the result can easily be ill-thought out (and, yes, boring!).<br>

Ron: simple, maybe, but different, no. It's pretty much a description of<br>
the Welsh flag (with a horse instead of a dragon) or the Somerset flag<br>
(with a horse instead of a wyvern).<br>

Which isn't saying it's bad, a horse on a background would be distinctive.<br>
