Wij hebben het hier al had van nabijheid en principale verschil van het
Laaglandisch Duits in Nederland/België en in Noord-Duitsland (met </span><span style="color: rgb(91, 16, 148); font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Marcus Buck en anderen)</span><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">

Kan goed, dat mijn nieuwe herkentnis is "koude koffie" voor jullie linguistiek-cracks.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">

En het was voor mij altijd nauwelijks te begrijpen, welke belangrijke -
structurele - verschillen er zouden zijn. Anders uitdrukt: Het dunkt mij, dat
het kwalijk mogelijk is, de Middel-Nederlandse/-Duitse dialecten (zowat naar
Saksische en Nederfrankische elementen) uiteen te zetten.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
Nou, waar ik al en half jaar Nederlands lere - neem me de feilen niet kwalijk!
- is me duidelijk worden, dat het weglaten van het -n in het suffix -en
in Nederland en Vlaanderen het meest opvallend verschil tegen het
Laaglands-Duits in Noord-Duitsland is, waar omgekeert in het suffix -en eerder
het "e" [ɘ] overslaan maar het
"n" sproken is.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
Tot nu had ik altijd de Nederlands-Vlaamse uitspraak van het suffix -en als [ɘ] zonder -n als speciale ondeugd van de desbetreffende
spreker aangezien. Maar dat kan niet.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">

me pas vandage uiteindelijk duidelijk geworden.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">

"dat kindere veel lere van een rollespel" - (vgl. "dass Kindere
viel lerne von en Rollespil"), "winkele, betale, aanpasse" - Dat
klingt erg naar Keulens/Ripuarisch (wat geografisch vlakbij ligt), naar
Hessisch en Alemannisch - zelfs in het Hoog-Alemannisch (Zwitserdoits) heeft
het deze vormen.</span><br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
In de Nederlands-les heb ik de suffixe -en tot nu altijk "-[ɘn] uitgesproken als ik het gewoon ben van het
(Hoog-)Duits en Westfaals, sonder vermaning van de lerares (die het maar ook
meest [ɘ] sprekt).</span><br>

Heel wat Nederlanders komeⁿ er hun inkopeⁿ doen. Sinds kort moet je er betaleⁿ om je auto te parkereⁿ, zoals in vele winkelstedeⁿ. </span></pre>
<pre style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span style="" lang="NL">'Verplicht gebruik van maandag tot zaterdag', staat er op de parkeerautomateⁿ. Volgens heel wat Nederlanders betekent dat dat je op zaterdag niet moet betaleⁿ, anders zou er 'tot en met zaterdag' moeteⁿ staan. </span></pre>
<pre style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span style="" lang="NL">Dus vondeⁿ heel wat Nederlanders vorige zaterdag een parkeerbon onder de ruitenwissers, toen ze terugkwameⁿ van het winkeleⁿ. De gemeente wil wel degelijk dat je ook op zaterdag voor een parkeerplaatsje betaalt. Veel Nederlandse chauffeurs weigereⁿ nu hun parkeerbon te betaleⁿ. </span></pre>
<pre style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span style="" lang="NL">Betaleⁿ van 'maandag tot zaterdag', dat betekent dat je niet moet betaleⁿ op zaterdag zelf, is hun uitleg. Volgens veel taalkundigeⁿ hebbeⁿ de Nederlanders gelijk: strikt genomeⁿ moest er 'tot en met zaterdag' staan. In de praktijk wordt in Vlaandereⁿ bijna altijd 'tot' gebruikt, ook als 'tot en met' bedoeld wordt. In Nederland is het onderscheid tusseⁿ 'tot' en 'tot en met' wel nog duidelijk. </span></pre>
<pre style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span style="" lang="NL">De burgemeester van Maasmecheleⁿ vermoedt echter dat de Nederlanders het eigenlijk wel begrepeⁿ haddeⁿ, maar dat ze van het taalfoutje willeⁿ profitereⁿ om niet te moeteⁿ betaleⁿ. Het parkeerbedrijf dat de parkeermeters beheert, heeft al lateⁿ weteⁿ dat het de tekst zal aanpasseⁿ, om verdere discussie te vermijdeⁿ.</span></pre>

kenmerk van de Nedersaksische dialecten van Oost-Pommeren (West-Pruisen), met
inbegrip van de Plautdietsch-dialecten van de Mennonieten (Doopsgezinde).</span></p>
