'logochaos' (uitstekende konsep): Sy dit nou die probleem of eintlik maar net
die omgewing, sê maar ethos, waarin ons ons taal praat en ons taalbelange
uitspeel?</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Ek wil nie 'Taal' - enige taal - uiteraard ophef nie. Taal is maar 'n kommunikasiemiddel. Daarmee kan mens die dieptes van
die siel sondeer of soos 'n gelukkige kind babbel. Mens kan ook medelinge belange uitspreek en
probleme oplos. Dit alles hang van die spreker af.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Waar die politiek opduik is
toe afgesondere elemente in hulle eie belang my taalgebruik wil afbaken of
verdring. Hulle wil net so gewillig my geweer wegvat, al het ek dit ook bitter
nodig. Tog is beide maar net gereedskap - na my mening die beste tot my
beskikking om my probleem (wat ookal) op te los: Maar net gereedskap. Hoe
ookal, om 'n man te wil ontwapen of onttaal is wel 'n saak om oor stryd te
voer, nê!</p>

beleid om taalverdringing tee te kamp deur om lateraal op te tree. Pak die saak
van 'n kant af (fight a boxer). Daar is mense wat kop uitsteek en ons huidige
bewind se vyandige optrede teen Afrikaans konfronteer, en goed so, dit hou
hulle besig en hulle aandag van ander taktiek weg. Sulke optredes sal nie
opsigself seëvier nie; maar net as verduistering.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Tussentyds wil ek en my
meëdenkendes saggies saggies voortgaan om Afrikaans te praat, te skryf, en alle
werksaamhede <strong>in die Taal</strong>
te behartig. Jy weet; Die Regering Van Die Dag is eens en vir altyd in hulle
eie strik gevang, deurom hulle eie propaganda vir feit en soetkoek op te vreet.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Maar konserwatiewes, hulle
wat die goed uit die verlede koester en daarop bou is in dese Land van Ons tot
'n man (swart en wit)Taalsprekend, hetsy eerste of tweede taal. Jy weet, nê?
Engelssprekendes trek, alle Bantoetale is geheg aan onbewerkbare ekonomiese
beleid en 'n parasitiese lewenswyse. Dit sal alles ineenstort en in die nadere
toekoms ieder as die vërdere. Wat gaan oorbly benewens Afrikaanssprekendes met
die oorblyfsels van 'n bewerkbare infrastruktuur en ekonomie? Sterkstaan; ek kan sommer huil.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Ons taalvyande, moet ek
vermeld, is nie so seer op die minagting van Afrikaans skuldig nie, maar ieder
die teendeel. Hulle waardering van die mag van die taal in die gemeenskap van
sy sprekendes wek (en met reg) hulle agterdog en vrees. Tot op hede is die SA
Administrasie heel bebesig om Afrikaans te verdring en op alle vlakke te dwarsboom.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal"> </p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Maar all hulle optrede tot
nou toe doen niks anders as om die sterkste stroom van Afrikaans weer te herlei
in die dieptes van die volksgees in, waar dit eintlik tot op hede oor drie
honderd jaar sonder amptelike gesag of gebruik (onder Kompanie, Batawiese, en
Engelse beleid) tot 'n groot taal aangewas het, en ryklik bevrug. Sy dit so,
ook in die toekoms.</p>
