claimed that he had already been condemned for the very same theft in Belgium.</p>

been given in Dutch, but the French judge in Boulogne could sufficiently understand the
Dutch text for accepting his defence.</p>

Boulogne : un
vol de voiture déjà jugé en Belgique </p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">R. B., ressortissant serbe,
ne comprend pas vraiment ce qu'il fait à la barre du tribunal de Boulogne... Il
comparaissait jeudi pour le vol d'une voiture, retrouvée dans un parking de Boulogne il y a quelques
années. Cette voiture volée faisait partie d'un trafic de voiture couvrant le
nord de la France
et de la Belgique. R. B. avait été interpellé alors qu'il venait de prendre
possession du véhicule, stationné depuis plusieurs mois au parking Saint-Louis et signalé à
la police. Seulement, voilà : R. B. soutient qu'il a déjà été jugé pour le vol
de cette voiture, en Belgique, dans le cadre du trafic dont il faisait partie.
Comme preuve, il présente une copie du jugement en question... rédigée en
flamand. Heureusement, le président du tribunal possède les rudiments de la langue.
Le tribunal a finalement considéré que R. B. avait déjà répondu de ce vol de
voiture devant un tribunal belge et qu'il a été effectivement condamné pour ces
faits. Il a donc prononcé l'extinction de l'action civile. À tout hasard, R. B.
a demandé une copie de cette décision... des fois que la justice belge aurait
l'idée de le reconvoquer pour la même histoire. F. L.</p>
