het gisteren de startdag van het nieuwe karnavalseizoen: de 11de van de 11de
maand. Geen toeval, want 11 wordt als het getal van de zot, de nar, de gek
beschouwd. Sommigen zeggen dat dat komt omdat er tien geboden zijn, en dat er
eigenlijk eentje mist (om wat evenwicht te hebben), het 11de: "Doe eens
gek". Plus: 12 is het "perfecte getal" (12 is niet toevallig de
basis van ons oud rekenstelsel, niet 10), en een 12 die eentje mankeert is 11.
Elf (öllef (B)) is dus het getal van al diegenen die in hun bovenkamer iets
mankeren.</p>

"Alaaf" verband houden met 11, maar da's helemaal niet zeker...elke
