new far reaching and substantive ‘regional’ language bill covering all
linguistic domains was launched in the French National Assembly on Tuesday.
Overall it establishes a level of linguistic rights in line with European
norms, including a State guarantee for the teaching of a regional language to
all children. If successful this Bill could have a hugely beneficial effect on
languages such as Breton and Corsican.</p>

<p style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" class="MsoNormal">Too little too late for some of them, including French Flemish?<br>
