Sabbern, known in Bremen, Köln, Göttingen (Georg Schambach) and Brabant.<br>

Also in use for "to drool (E), geifern (G)) and probably cognate with
"to sob (E)". Same root and also used for light rain is Southern Dutch
"zever(e)n".<br>

I think German musseln/muscheln could well be related to older Dutch
"mooschen" (treat clumsily, play with dirt...). "Moeësn" in Brabantish.<br>

light rain. The word ‘mis’ is Afr for ‘fog’, and we have other words, such as
‘mishoring = foghorn’ with the same component as well. The Xhosa (black tribal
grouping as well as athe name of their language have the word ‘kitsha’ or
kwitsha’ for the same event (i.e. light rain).</span></font></div>
