Some centuries ago NDS "Lobbes" was something like EN "clumsy fellow".<br>
<br>
NDS "Lobbe" was another word for EN "lip". NDS "Dikke Lobben" = EN "fat lips".<br>

NDS "Lobbe / Lubbe" was a "toby collar": "Een Krage groot als een temlyk Wagenrad, dar de hochwyse Kop recht midden inne sat."<br>
