Hannelore was telling about how international women's day was celebrated
in the former socialist German Democratic Republic, and she was
describing how male employees used to put flowers that day (March 8) at
the desks of their female colleagues, sometimes they sung etc. A very
interesting description of the atmosphere of East Berlin before the
so-called Wende.</span><br style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">

ein Frugensminsch ihrt mit ein Geld-Prämie. Wi Frugenslüd hebben Kaffee
kaakt un ok Kauken för de Kellegen spendiert. Ja, un denn güng dat
sachte an, un 'n Lütten hebben wi uns ok tau Bost nahmen. All'ns in

Uns Bœwelste (de Baas) von dat Institut Post- und Fernmeldewesen
regierte je von Berlin ut. Ja, wi hebben oft eins sinnig vertellt,
männigmal spälte ick Einen up mit mien Quetschkomod un sungen wüür ok.
Wi hebben dat genaten, man gaud so, dor stünn kein Druck achter. Wi
wieren egentlich bäter an as männig anner, uns' Kring tellte man blot
söß Mitmakers (Dipl.Ing., Ing. un Ing.Ök.)</span><br style="color:rgb(0,0,153)"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,153)">
Uns' Büro wier ein anmiet oll Wahnung (Hinterhof 2 1/2 Stuwen) in de

Drei Schriewdische in'n Rum von ~ 10-12 Quadratmeter, dor müßten wi 48
Stunden in de Woch sitten un uthollen un de Baas hett ahn Rücksicht ein
