<div>I personally have not been kidnapped by the mafia, but rather the Comanches and Kiowas, as I now work with Native American languages and no longer with Dutch dialects, as I did for my MA at the UvA. Still, I enjoy following LLC, when I have time (and when
I don't, I file them for reading at a later date - I have a whole stack from when I was in the throes of finishing my dissertation) and I do hope that the list continues to be active... Although I have noticed that it is not as active as it once was, I considered
that since it is summer, perhaps everyone is on vacation? (In Italy, evidently - surely the weather there is kinder than here - we are baking at nearly 40 degrees C, as usual for July.)</div>
