Nahuatlan?

It might be worth adding that the term "Nahuatlan" is an invention of a
linguist (or rather an linguistic anthropologist, Daniel Brinton,
according to the encyclopedia...). The intended implication is "the
greater Nahuatl-like family" -- so don't try to gloss it as nuahua + tlan
or some such.

(Also, as should have been obvious, the reference to 'extinct Aztec' was a
quote from some dictionary, not a direct posting by anyone on the list.)
