I asked Luis Reyes Garcia who translated the Historia Tolteca Chichimeca
about Quetzalteueyac, and he states that the name is Quetzaltenhueyac,
with that spelling registered in several places and supported by the
glyph of a feather protruding from his lip.  The meaning of the name is
roughly Big Precious Mouth, or he who speaks well.
