I'm assuming, given the wide range of territories that have been occupied by speakers of Nahuatl, that there is a word for marmot. Would anyone happen to know what that is? I'm less sure that there are or were marmots around the Valley of Mexico or on the slopes of the volcanoes. Might anyone have any idea? Many thanks, Paul Anderson
