Hill's paper in the Dec.2001 American Anthropologist suggests support for Bellwood's hypothesis that Uto-Aztecan may have originated in the Mesoamerican zone of maize agricultural innovation(s). Does anyone have an opinion about this? I'd be very interested, and imagine others would be, as well. Joanna
