sardonic nicknames

Dear Nahuatlatos,

In an article written, I believe, by James Lockhart, there is a discussion
of categories of Nahuatl names. Among the categories was one the author
called "sardonic nicknames." If anyone is familiar with the article or the
concept, I would greatly appreciate any information, as I have lost the
reference.
