Hello all.

Though I've replied individually to some respondents who've written to me
directly, I'd just like to say at this point a big Thank-you to everyone who
is contributing to this thread. I'm learning so much from it all, and of
course will shortly be making some corrections to the site.

Please keep it flowing...!

Saludos,

Ian

PS. What might be a 'standard' equivalent of 'Saludos' in Náhuatl? Is
there one, or could someone offer a simple greeting I could add to the site?
When I was in San Isidro Buensuceso back in the early '70s, I learnt to say
(if I remember right) 'Tlen conchihua?' to which people generally replied
'Amuntla' - i.e. The greeting went 'What are you doing?' 'Nothing'. How
widespread is this? I'm hoping to learn and upload a greeting with a
slightly more culturally positive ring to it!! Perhaps there's a Náhuatl
equivalent to the Spanish 'Como amaneciste?'
