Hello, I'm a new member

Hi everyone,

I'm just introducing myself to the list. I'm from
Leicester in England, and I'm a postgrad student in
Natural Product Chemistry. I have a particular
interest in the history of herbal medicine usage by
the Nahua. I'm currently researching the medicinal and
ritual use of two species of Tagetes (cempoalxochitl
and yauhtli) by the Aztecs (as recorded by de la Cruz
ans Sahagun in particular) and by modern communities
(as a medicine and natural pesticide).

Unfortunatly I don't speak Nahuatl, apart from knowing
the names of a few herbs, but wouldn't mind trying to
learn some basics!
