Mario,

Where is "Coahuila de Zaragoza" present day? Is it in Mexico or Texas? The reason I am asking is this. Most Chicanos, myself included, thought Ignacio Zaragoza was born in Texas.

I knew, Coahuila comes from Coatl = serpent and Huila = Bird. It is like "Serpent that flies "

In Fact, Oficial name is "Coahuila de Zaragoza" because General Ignacio Zaragoza was born there.

Not to get off this subject matter...... But does anyone know what "COAHUILA " mean? The people of Texas ( TEJAS ) were called "COAHUILTECANS" just wondering...The CADDOS say that *TEJAS* is a word from their language, I say not...

  Later...
